We all tuned in to the conclusion of one of the most exciting World Series ever! Game seven between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros was nothing short of amazing. Both teams played hard – and the Astros clinched the championship. We couldn’t be more excited for the city of Houston which deserves to celebrate just nine weeks after Hurricane Harvey.
Just as great as the game itself was the sweetest moment that occurred right after. Player Carlos Correa, proposed to his girlfriend of more than a year, Daniella Rodriguez, with a beautiful fancy pear-shaped diamond engagement ring! Her reaction to his proposal on live television was the best. He didn’t even have a chance to slip the ring on her finger before she reached to give him the biggest hug, showing complete shock and elation. To read more about the heartfelt proposal in the Houston Chronicle.

The vintage-inspired engagement ring, which Correa picked out with the help of Astros teammate Carlos Beltran, is perfectly on-trend. In fact, just last week, Robbins Brothers unveiled results from a recent survey and vintage, fancy-shaped diamond rings are the preference of many. If you love Daniella’s gorgeous ring or prefer a different fancy shape such as oval, emerald or marquise – click here for inspiration or visit RobbinsBrothers.com.
Best wishes to the newly engaged couple!
