Art Deco inspired jewelry is geometric, bold, and architectural. The current resurgence is reinterpreted with a modern lens. Learn more about the latest jewelry Art Deco trends and how to incorporate these stunning looks into your personal style.

Art Deco trends emerged in the 1920s and 1930s as a celebration of the modern age. Styles evolved from the intricate lines of Art Nouveau and embraced geometric shapes, symmetry, and boldness. The discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb in Egypt in 1922 caught the world’s imagination, and styles began to weave in motifs such as lotus blossoms and pyramids.

Foundational Art Deco styles incorporate straight lines, right angles, zigzags, and repetition. They often include high contrast colors or sweeping nature motifs such as sunbursts or palm fronds. They often include stepped forms (a nod to the skyscrapers of the day.

Emerald cut and marquise diamonds are a quintessential Art Deco style, as are bright gemstones and white gold and platinum metals.
