The rough diamond is the size of a chicken egg and weighed a whopping 3.53 ounces. Beyonce will appreciate the quality: the article stated it was one of the top 20 rough diamonds in the world.
Hong Kong-based jewelry retailer Chow Tai Food Jewelry Co. Ltd. purchased the diamond that was discovered in South Africa last September.
