How did you two meet?
We technically met in high school. We were friends for a long time and started dating right after.
How did he propose?
Manuel proposed by taking me on a romantic gondola getaway ride in Long Beach, California. The gondola took us around the beach and the Gondolier was having a conversation with us about how awful it is for people to litter on the beach. At that moment, he asked Manuel to please pick up a bottle that was thrown in the ocean. Manuel reached for the bottle, and once he grabbed it, he faced me and was kneeling on one knee. He told me to open the bottle and to reach for the message that was inside of it. Inside the bottle read the most beautiful message that ended with… “Will you marry me?” My eyes filled with tears of joy as I responded with, “Of course!” Once we reached the shore, his family was there to greet us with joy.
What do you love most about your engagement ring?
