We LOVE reporting happy engagement news so it’s a little disheartening to report an engagement split. Even in the chaotic world of Tinsletown where A-listers change partners quite often. This time it happened to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner (85) and playmate Crystal Harris (25). The wedding was scheduled for THIS Saturday, June 18 but it looks like someone got cold feet.
SHE SAID: After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef. I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward.
HE SAID: The breakup is a heartbreaker, but better now than after the marriage. He joked, Since we’re not getting married on Saturday, I’ve scheduled a movie: Runaway Bride. Seems appropriate.
