Funny, Sweet and Heartfelt Marriage Proposal Reactions

I might be just a tad bit biased but I totally LOVE Robbins Brothers’ new engagement ring commercials! I can’t help but watch and wonder what my reaction will be to those four little words (heck…actually BIG words)–“Will You Marry Me?” In general I’m a crybaby and very emotional so I’ll definitely cry, but then again I have a tender heart so I might faint too. But wait, I love to dance so I’ll probably bust a move as well. Oh boy! Maybe I’ll cry, dance and then faint?? No tellin’ what I’m gonna do when that blessed day arrives but I patiently continue to wait.

However I respond, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a moment I’ll never ever forget. What about you? If you’re not engaged yet how do you think you’ll react to the marriage proposal? If you’ve already been engaged how did you react?

The commercial is great! I saw it for the first time on tv a couple of night ago and I totally got teary n giggled. I know the day it happens to me, I will be balling and in majotr shock…10 yrs and still waiting 😉

It has now been almost 47 years since my husband and I were engaged. I remember it just like it was yesterday. After 46 years, three children and seven grandchildren, my life is now complete. My rings tell the story of my life. As a retired educator, I always loved when my students asked why I wore so many rings and I would tell them the story behind each ring! Much to my amazement, not one child ever said, “Boy, you are old.” Robbins Brothers has always been our go to store for rings!

I think this commercial is wonderful. It brings back memories of when I got engaged. It is one of the most memorable moments in a girls life and seeing these reactions just cracks me up but it always brings me back to a great place. Thanks
