Five Things NOT To Say When He Proposes Marriage

Will-You-Marry-Me1-1024x682

Well ladies, at some point in life most of us look forward to that BIG day. You know, the one that includes the man we love so much down on one knee with a sparkly “accessory” in hand, uttering those four special words that will echo in our hearts until the end of time. Umm yes, I’m talking about your marriage proposal! While we single ladies can only imagine how we’ll react when Mr. Right attempts to put a ring on it, one will never really know….until it actually happens. And then factor in the reality that the proposal might come unexpectedly, from a person you don’t even want to marry (yikes, I know).

Just to make sure you’re semi-prepared for that magical, life-changing day, here are five responses that you should probably avoid once he asks you to spend forever with him.

1. It’s about time! It only took you forever.

2. Nooooooooooo (covering face and running away)

3. Are you kidding me?! This is a joke, right? (giggling)

4. Does it come any bigger?! (staring at the 1/2 carat diamond engagement ring)

5. Yes to the ring, no to the marriage. (Ladies, this is just wrong!!)

Any other “politically incorrect” responses you can think of?

    Is it real?

    How much did it cost?

What store did you buy it at?

    How many carats is it?

I don’t like it. (It’s not big enough or it’s to big or I wanted to pick it out or I wanted a colored diamond)
