I had the best Memorial Day weekend. Lots of reflection (thankful to all service men, past and present who serve our country to protect our freedom), relaxation, even bought a new computer (yep my other one was about to croak on me), and also helped celebrate love with dear friends Jay Tucker and TV personality Niecy Nash. I just love these two! It seems like yesterday when I watched them walk down the aisle at their beautiful Malibu wedding. And now a year later? Already? Yep time flies when you’re having fun lovin’ your mate! Most importantly, they’re still growing strong. Bravo!
The elegant yet down-to-earth 1-Year Anniversary party was held at the couple’s Los Angeles home and proved to be a star-studded affair. Guests included actress Angela Bassett and Courtney Vance, Lisa Leslie and hubby Michael, Laila Ali and Curtis Conway, singer Brandy and boyfriend Ryan Press, Regina King and Malcolm Jamal Warner, singer Shanice and Flex Alexander, Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, and one of my favorite and funny actresses Jennifer Lewis. The common goal: we were all there to celebrate love with one of Hollywood’s sweetest couples. Congrats to Jay and Niecy! I’m already looking forward to year 2.
