I’ve had the best Memorial Day weekend and am so inspired to continue to wait for my “Mr. Right.” I know he’s coming…soon! I had the privilege of attending the celebrity wedding for my good friend Jay Tucker who married the beautiful, funny TV personality Niecy Nash on Saturday, May 28. The two exchanged vows at the luxurious Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu, CA.
Nearly 200 guests including celebrities Sheryl Lee Ralph (matron of honor), Wendy Raquel Robinson (bridesmaid), Shaun Robinson, Blair Underwood, Kym Whitley, Erin Andrews, Evan Lysacek, Jerry O’Connell & wife Rebecca Romijn, and others witnesssed this magical, memorable moment! Niecy and Jay are completely in love and I’m sure everyone left the wedding feeling refreshed, inspired and determined to rekindle their own love lives. Oh yes, seeing these two together makes one want to prioritize the beautiful institution of marriage. I’m happy to report that “Love” is still in season!
I also had a chance to reconnect with one of my longtime friends and first PR clients Miss Sherri Shepherd (bridesmaid) from The View, who is engaged to be married in August to the great, fun-loving TV writer Lamar Sally (they are also perfect together). I am so glad I went to this wedding…I needed the encouragement! Congrats Jay & Niecy! Continue to make us smile. Continue to make us proud.
