No great dates this summer–yet (hope springs eternal!) In years past, I really enjoyed going hiking at Silver Falls with someone I loved.
I love dates that can be described as something that makes both people in a couple them. Me and my fiance love to game so visiting each others houses for a nice game of cards or playing on the wii is really fun. I think both people should be able to enjoy it. I also LOVE going out to eat every once in a while. For me it is easier to unwind and just talk to my man when waiting for chinese food to be cooked for us. I love feeling close to him and being able to have so much in common 🙂
A fun summer date would be a baseball game or a summer concert. Very fun!
My favorite summmer date is to go to this park over looking the city @ night. Its nice and cool but not cold and we like to talk about the day and work and just be together watching the beautiful city lights in the valley. Its our time to be together alone and reconnect with out the distractions ofr the world.
We enjoy a nice dinner followed by an extra nice dessert session- froyo, cupcakes, pie, etc. It’s so hot in Texas that it’s nearly impossible to do anything outside! Or if we are feeling extra crazy, we will do a small picnic in the apartment! Just as long as we are together, anything goes :o)
Best summer date was going camping with my guy and his dog and enjoying the peace and quiet and the calm river nearby to splash around in! Cooking bacon and eggs on a grill outside after sleeping out in a tent felt so good. I would do it again if I still lived in Oregon. Camping in Southern California requires too much driving to get to a decent location! Nowadays, dates in the summer are about us walking around the beach and going for a cup of frozen yogurt.
Road trips and amusement parks are always fun! Though I’d have to say our most romantic date this summer has been cooking dinner together and then watching a movie at home. Nothing better than some quality alone time without any distractions 🙂
With my finace and I having a child, most of our date nights end up at Disneyland with our son. Although some people may not see it as “romantic”, “sexy”, or “intimate”, there’s nothing like seeing my fiance be the best father in the world to our son and that makes me fall more in love with him everyday!
Summer dates, amusement park, some walking around and hand holding, taking road trip together sharing conversations and enjoy the scenery. Ending with a nice dinner at home and a movie that both couple can enjoy and cuddle up to one another.
