It’s the 5th of July and we’re ready for a good ole cup of coffee. It’s been a long, fun-filled holiday weekend! Today we want to know WHERE exactly did you meet your significant other? Some people say the gym, grocery store, sporting events or church is a good place to meet prospects. We’ve even read that Las Vegas is a hot spot as many eligible men and women visit the lively city at some point throughout the year. Hmmm. What do you think? Let us know where or how you met Mr. or Miss Right.

I met my fiance in college. He happened to be a graduate assistant teacher for the class I was taking!
As for the best places to meet…I’m really not sure but I’d probably rather meet someone on a smaller scale situation than Las Vegas. I can’t imagine people looking for a serious relationship there.
I met my husband on a summer job for a school district that we both worked for. We both taught (he was also a coach) but, we were at different schools.
I meet my husband at a mutual friends get together.
I am single. Broke up with someone back in December. We met at work. We worked for the same school. It was fun while it lasted. Looking forward to see who’s next! ๐
We met at our local community college. I had dropped my University Physics course at my university and decided to take it at community college. He was sitting in the break room with one of my friends from high school. SMALL WORLD! ๐
I met my beloved mr. Right at church. We grew up together and slowly feelings and emotions started growing and developing into something more than just a friendship thing.

What happens in VEGAS stays in VEGAS……well……not so. I met my husband in Vegas while out w/ the girls. Dated 7 months, married at 9 months, and 6yrs/ 2 kids later, we’re happy as can be =)
We met in high school during a volunteer event for Relay for LIfe. We stayed up all night talking under the stars =)
We met at work about 9 years ago, it started off playful flirting and fun because we didn’t want to jeopardize our jobs. I left the job and we stayed in touch and remain friends for about 9 years. I believe timing is everything and now we are engaged and planning on a wedding in July of 2012.
I met my fiance when I was 16. We went to the same high school and had no clue who eachother was. He was a senior and I was a sophomore. We were also neighbors and had no clue. One night my father was at my fiancรฉ’s house meeting his family and I went over and I decided to go see what my dad was doing. I met my fiance then and ever since we have been inseparable. I am so thankful I met him that night because even though we had been going to the same school and were neighbors, our paths had not crossed until that night. Love finds you when your not looking and when you least expect it.
well the first time I met him at the age of 16 at the burger chef helping to clean it up after a kitchen fire. then the 2nd and final time!! he knocked on my apt. door with a bag of taco bell food. and we have been together now for 21 1/2 years!!
Well I met my babe through my friend, it was his cousin, we had to stop by his print shop and where we met and the rest is history <3 and reality is you can meet people anywhere, so never leave the house looking like a hot mess because you never know! Lol
2 years ago on 4th of July, I was meeting up with a childhood friend who was visiting at her cousin’s house in Pasadena. After hanging out w/her for couple of weeks, me and her cousin kept in touch. We’ve been together since then. 2 years and 1 day later, we are more in love with each other than we were yesterday, a day before, a month ago or even a year ago.. you can’t escape faith ๐
Staying*** at her cousin’s house…
Church
We met at a bar on New Years Eve….best night ever!
I met my boyfriend in high school.
I don’t have a boyfriend right now but my parents met at the gym :).
I met my boyfriend of two months in my English class at a community college. We were just friends for a while as I was going through a terrible breakup with my ex of two years, but since we connected so well and he was there for me, we became more. He’s an awesome person full of ambition and for the first time in a while I feel free to be myself again. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better relationship and things can only get better!
Yes all of those places are great spots to meet Mr or Miss Right but I meet my Mr. Right @ Whataburger. That was my very first place of work. I thought he was someone else but I fell in LOVE & so did he.
Believe it or not, our mothers worked together and thought we’d make a great couple. So listen to your mama!
