Wedding Ring Trends for 2020

With a new year comes new trends. So what’s going to be popular this wedding season when it comes to bling? Read on to see what wedding ring trends are in store.

Recently our very own Sharon Lehew, General Manager of Robbins Brothers Scottsdale, sat down with The List to talk about the three largest wedding ring trends that are as unique as each couple’s love story.

1) Commitment Rings

Commitment Rings from Robbins Brothers (skus 0430934, 0388629, 0430433)

Whether you are looking for a way to commemorate your partnership or a meaningful way to pledge your love for one another, Commitment Rings are a great way for the unconventional couple to show they’re committed to one another on their own terms. Sharon says, “Couples want to do it their way. They don’t necessarily want to walk down the aisle and say I do, but they are truly committed to each other and they want everyone to know.”

As far as wedding ring trends go, the commitment ring doesn’t have a standard look so allows for many settings and styles. Maybe it’s a wide band ring to signify a big love, or an engagement looking ring with a large center; let your heart guide you in making a selection.

2) The Groom’s Ring

This upcoming wedding season will see a greater focus on what HE wants. “Our guys are caring a lot more about what they are putting on their finger as well.”

The plain and simple band is something that is being left behind. Men will be looking for wedding rings that showcase their personality. Maybe it’s his love of a sport, his appreciation of the beauty that lies in hardwood or a unique metal that captures his attention. There are now hundreds of designs and materials that will help him find a meaningful ring that he will identify with. We think this wedding ring trend will last for many years to come.

3) The Enchanted Disney

‘Once Upon A Time’ and ‘They Lived Happily Ever After’ are phrases that bring us back to a love story for the ages. According to a recent study by The Knot/XO Group, one in four brides want something from Disney to be part of her wedding. So…why not get on this wedding ring trend carriage and select a ring from the new Enchanted Disney Collection!

The princess designed engagement rings feature designs that embody the princess we love. From the Cinderella rings that feature intricate silhouettes of her carriage integrated into the ring, or the rose design in the Belle rings that represent a blossoming love, your Disney princess will adore one of these romantic designs inspired by Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and Snow White.

Enchanted Disney Ursula Engagement Ring
With stunning villainous glamor, the Ursula engagement ring features a tentacle like design. Enchanted Disney Ursula Ring, Sku:0440828

Maybe your love has a strong spirit and loves to defy the traditional. If so the villain inspired engagement rings are for her. With designs that showcase dark metals and black diamonds, these works of art offer a subtle nod to the villainous signatures of The Evil Queen, Ursula and Maleficent.

Are you more princess or villian? Take our Disney quiz to find out.

Whatever the rings mean to you and your love, we wish you an ending as unique as your beginning.
