By Robbins Brothers Proposal Ambassadors -Alex and Liana
In Phoenix you are met by a beautiful jagged horizon made by the surrounding mountains, tall cacti and the warmth of the desert heat. Furthermore, while Phoenix and Scottsdale are neighboring cities, each has a completely different soul which made the adventure to Arizona all the more exciting!
Why it’s romantic – The romance of the area is found in the warmth and solitude that the desert has to offer. It’s peaked by the majestic sunsets over the jagged mountain ranges surrounding paradise valley.
Why it’s proposal perfect – This oasis in the middle of the desert wells up a sense of love and hope that draws people together.
Why they’ll love it – Phoenix has a very laid back and vacationy vibe. Anyone that comes here is sure to be in great spirits.
Why it’s perfect for photos and vids – The greater Phoenix area is very photogenic! The cacti, rugged mountains, and beautiful weather make taking pictures and videos so easy.
Why they’ll say “yes” – The great vibes plus the amazing weather and beautiful scenery, they will surely say yes.
Cons – Stay away in mid summer as temperatures reach 120 degrees and being outside certainly wont be enjoyable.

The following are romantic and creative suggestions for asking the one you love for their hand-in-marriage in the Valley of the Sun!
Paradise Valley
Across from Camelback Mountain and on the other side of Paradise Valley are hills and viewpoints which are the perfect vantage points for a romantic sunset with the mountain in full view. We found a road winding up the mountain side so we followed it until we found a beautiful vantage point where we perched to enjoy the view.
Desert Botanical Gardens
Desert flowers and beautiful cacti greet you as soon as you come in the park. After grabbing a bite at the cafe here, we set out through the gardens for a couple of hours and were blown away by the beauty that the desert has to offer. This is the perfect proposal spot to come to for those who want to dress up and simply enjoy an easy walk and a romantic talk before heading off to dinner to celebrate.
Roosevelt Row Arts District
Just on the outskirts of downtown Phoenix this is a unique and artsy gem. The arts district is a hot-spot full of trendy restaurants, bars and beautiful murals painted on the buildings themselves. We loved wandering the streets and admiring the hip art. This would be a unique proposal spot for the artsy couple. Maybe you can even get a mural commissioned for your proposal!
Papago Park
A cute little spot at the end of the dock in full view of Hole in the Rock. Make a fun day of it out here and visit the zoo next door before coming to hang out in this little desert oasis. We loved the beauty and peacefulness of this park and the surrounding area.
Mountain Shadows Resort
This resort is the perfect place to come for a quick round of golf on the short course, dinner and/or to just come and hang out on the beautiful grounds of the resort. We had a fine dinner then went for a little dance in the courtyard to top off the evening in the shadow of Camelback.
