Surprise Engagement on CBS Show “The Doctors”

Tony suffers from an extremely painful incurable disease called Livedoid Vasculopathy which almost led to the amputation of his feet and left him in a coma. He spent years living in pain; and subsequent use of pain meds have tragically caused his teeth to fall out. After writing into The Doctors show, the dentists and oral surgeon discovered that if left untreated, the infection would have killed him in 3 months.

Tony had dental surgery in March to remove the infection, restore his smile and essentially save his life. After regaining his health, he decided to propose to Charlene, the woman in his life who has stood by his side through it all.
