Valentine’s is just two and a half weeks away! Skip the expensive red roses and high-calorie chocolates. Instead follow the lead of these celebrities and profess your love in the most ultimate of ways, with an engagement ring or wedding band, on February 14:

• The gorgeous Keri Russell (former Felicity star) married contractor Sean Deary on February 14, 2007 in Manhattan.
• Good Charlotte’s guitarist Billy Martin proposed to Linzi Williamson (they were friends in high school!) on Valentine’s Day-eve with a 2 carat cushion-cut diamond ring accented with black diamond pavé bands.
• February 2008 was a magical Valentine’s Day for actress Marisol Nichols, star of 24, when her director/boyfriend surprised her with a round diamond engagement ring set in 14K white gold.
• Captain & Tennille (anyone under 35 should check out “Love Will Keep Us Together” on iTunes – choreograph a dance to this and you’ll be an instant YouTube star!) were married on February 14, 1974
