A hearty congratulations to the newly engaged couple, Meghan Rickey & Cheyne Whitney, of last season’s Amazing Race reality TV show on CBS. Robbins Brothers associate, Danny Smith, of the San Diego store had the pleasure of helping Cheyne select a beautiful ArtCarved Limited Edition platinum engagement ring with a princess-cut diamond and diamond side stones.
The proposal itself was just as beautiful! On Sunday, Feb. 28, after a romantic weekend in San Diego where Meghan & Cheyne stayed at the Omni, they spent some time coasting down memory lane. The couple visited the elementary school where they met, the middle school where they hung out, and then went to a lookout point where they’ve been going since the courtship began.
At the lookout point Cheyne handed Meghan a copy of the April issue of Brides magazine, which included his marriage proposal, “Meghan, will you marry me?” For the final surprise, Cheyne had a crew from Entertainment Tonight come out from the bushes to capture the happy moment.
