5 Places To Propose In Orange County-South Coast

Sometimes it seems the proposal story is more important than actually getting engaged. As a new wifey myself, I wanted to share with you my Top 5 places to propose in the Orange County/South Coast area.

The Resort at Pelican Hill
If you want to go luxe then this golf resort and spa with panoramic views of the Pacific is your place. How about lounging by one of the world’s largest circular pools when you become a future Mrs? This breathtaking location is paired with butlers and private cabanas. Need I say more?

Segerstrom Center for the Arts
Nothing better than live theater. A gorgeous night would entail a beautiful dinner, then watching performers in a stunning ballet, opera or Broadway show. To be moved with emotion would be the perfect appetizer to an unexpected marriage proposal. Tears all around!

The Wedge
One of my all time favorite beach spots is “The Wedge”–a spot located at the extreme east end of the Balboa Peninsula. I have seen everything happen there from surfing, bodyboarding, proposals to a wedding! I say plan a lovely picnic and ask right when the sun is setting. Got to get that perfect Instagram shot!

OC Fair
Funnel cakes, pretzels, hot dogs and beer sounds like heaven to me! But seriously, nothing seems more special than riding the Ferris wheel when the love of your life pops the big question!

OC Helicopters
What about saying yes in the air? OC Helicopters can take you anywhere in the Orange County area to make that next step together. You can tour all the beaches or even make a custom tour. Sign me up for this once in a lifetime moment.

And of course to make sure you have the perfect engagement ring for this oh-so-perfect proposal moment, stop by Robbins Brothers in Costa Mesa to see your endless options.

Happy location spotting!
