We polled our beloved Facebook Fans to find out their favorite holiday rituals. Whether it’s opening gifts exactly at midnight or sleeping under the Christmas tree (Yep! I was intrigued by this one and might try it this year!), I must say our social networkers definitely know how to make the season bright.

I have always been sneaky about name tags on gifts. I either number them, or with a marker on one of the top back corners initial them where no one but I know, so that my kiddos wouldn’t know which belonged to whom (I am now doing that with my grandbabies)…lol!

I also like to spend one night asleep under or near my Christmas tree. That has always been a special lil something for me to do for myself (to this day, I haven’t shared that with anyone, until now). When my kiddos were younger, I would dress them up and sit them all (6) down for pictures in front of the Christmas tree, together and individually. They would always get so excited because they knew they were allowed one gift to open when I was done playing photographer…those are my wonderful memories which are dear to my heart and terribly missed now that they’ve all grown up and moved on.

Decorating the Christmas tree as a family, it doesn’t matter how old we all get that’s the best part of Christmas. Of course having breakfast together after opening gifts is another tradition of ours.

Christmas Eve Santa always brings a present (pajamas) to our whole family’s house. Even the grown ups. Then we open our gifts Christmas morning in our silly pajamas!
