Marriage Proposal at Four Seasons in Austin

Brandon proposes marriage to Taishi

I just love it when the groom tells the marriage proposal story! So descriptive, romantic & confident. Congrats to Brandon & Taishi from Austin, Texas! Wishing you a long, adventurous journey together filled with passion, kindness, joy, love & happiness.

In His Own Words :
After two wonderful years of dating, Brandon told Taishi to get ready for a special night out to celebrate their two-year anniversary. They pulled into the beautiful Four Seasons in Austin, TX and went in for what she thought were pre-dinner cocktails. Then Brandon’s good friend Andrea Tanner (andreatanner.com), who’s a professional photographer comes around the corner and they announce the ‘anniversary suprise’: professional photos! They went out to the grounds of the Four Seasons, which back up to a beautiful lake and have absolutely perfect views and took some beautiful photos. Andrea suggested that they go over to the pier overlooking the lake so she could take some shots against the water as the sun set.

They walked over and faced each other; and then Andrea suggested that Brandon tell her a story so that she’d laugh and she could get some ‘natural’ shots. Taishi expected Brandon, who is the funniest person she knows, to tell her a silly story about drunken monkeys or some other such silliness. But instead, he got very quiet and looked lovingly into her eyes. He started telling her a story about a boy who fell in love with a girl. . . and as the story ended, he dropped to one knee, pulled a gorgeous ring out of his pocket and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes!! And the photos turned out beautifully!! What a lucky girl! Taishi had (finally!!) found her prince.
