LADIES: Celebrate Leap Day by Asking Him To Marry You?!

PinterestFacebook
He Said YES!

When it comes to my career, protecting loved ones or standing up for ethical endeavors, I can be one bold woman. But my intimate relationships, not so much! I need some of that Sadie Hawkins magical dust sprinkled on me. I hate to be the first one to make a move if I notice a really attractive guy. I’ll smile but that’s it! I don’t even like to call first or ask him out on a date but I definitely admire women who are more than willing to step up to the plate. In fact, in the bridal industry I see more women proposing marriage to their guy. (Don’t think I could ever pop the question but I will certainly let him know about my Simon G. dream engagement ring. That’s easy.)

I must admit that I completely loved the marriage proposal by our customer Tonie Pangco last year. She asked her man Chris, a former marine to spend forever with her. Not only did she ask him to marry her, she did it on live TV! Now that takes courage! Maybe one day I’ll get bolder when it comes to the opposite sex…after all, it’s 2012 and Sadie Hawkins paved the way a long time ago. 🙂
