How to Let Him Know You’re Ready to Get Engaged

Okay, you’ve talked about where you’ll live, the house with the white picket fence or maybe the split level ranch, and how many kids you’ll have (or not have). Chances are he’s just as ready as you are to get engaged. Well almost as ready. But maybe he needs a little hint.

There are plenty of ways to let him know. You could just come right out and ask him if he’s ready to get engaged soon and how he feels about it. Or, you could print out pictures of engagement ring styles you love and leave them in a convenient place. Hmm, not too subtle. Okay, maybe take him to a restaurant that happens to be near an engagement ring store and then “just have a look around” and see how pale he gets. OR… just go ahead and tell him how much you’d like to be married to him. He should pick up on that.
