For Wedding Season Fashion Bloggers Unite at Jewelry Store
To Benefit Dress for Success West

On July 16, 2013 Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store and Designer Simon G. hosted its second annual charity event for bloggers, Diamonds and Desserts LA, in Glendale to benefit Dress for Success West. Over 50 social networkers, including bloggers, editors and media personalities, showed up for the soiree to try on the latest bridal and fashion jewelry while uploading fanciful photos to their Instagram and Twitter profiles. They mingled, enjoyed decadent desserts and sipped on drinks as they beamed on their complimentary fresh manicure provided by Serve the Goddess mobile spa services.

Newly-engaged hostess Natasha Burton from Cosmo led the night’s festivities and encouraged guests to support Dress for Success. Donations entailed gently used purses plus women’s suits and separates. For each blogger who attended, Robbins Brothers donated $25 to the charity. Everyone departed with a “blingin” Swag Bag which included bracelets from Robbins Brothers and Simon G. along with lotions, hand sanitizers, nail polish and iPhone cases.
