Last night, I had an amazing time at the Glendale store’s second annual Diamonds and Desserts event, which I was lucky enough to host.
With my parents in tow as my “dates” for the evening, I mingled with fashion bloggers and designers, snacked on some delicious cake pops, and tried on some fabulous designs by Simon G. What better way to spend a Tuesday night, right?!
But while the event was decadent—there were even manicure stations!—the heart of the night was giving back: For every person who attended, Robbins Brothers vowed to donate $25 to Dress for Success, an incredible organization that empowers women and clothes them for job interviews and beyond. Given the crowd of attendees and the filled clothing bins, it’s safe to say that we raised a lot of money for a great cause.
I also met some really fab women last night who deserve a shoutout: Heather Hahn, the style brains behind the blog Chiffon Souffle, Leila Tamar Kerze, who is launching a line of Italian-made vegan footwear this fall, and Megumi Hosogai, whose line of Jackie-O-inspired sunglasses are made especially so they won’t bump your cheeks or eyelashes (and ruin your makeup).
All in all, the night was a blast and I couldn’t be more honored to be apart of it. See you all at next year’s event!
