I admit it. I love to glance through the gossip mags while in line at the grocery store. Sad thing is most of the headlines are all about failed celebrity marriages. Sandra Bullock and Jesse James. Tiger Woods and Elin. Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes. Kate and John Gosselin. (Okay, the last two are technically not celebrities but apparently being in a reality show is interesting enough to get you a gig on Dancing with the Stars these days.)
In the spirit of keeping things positive and refusing to give up on love in Hollywood, I proclaim Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson as having the “Best Celebrity Marriage” in honor of their upcoming 22nd anniversary on April 30, 2010.
Tom & Rita, congratulations from all of us at Robbins Brothers. Your relationship is a shining example to all couples in love! You reportedly met on “Bosom Buddies” back in the 80s (one of my favorite shows back in my school days and where I was one of the very first fans of Tom Hanks, in his early cross-dressing career days) and fell in love a few years later on a film set.
