December 22, 2010: Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store, reports that surprise marriage proposals are being secretly planned by several hundred of their customers for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Popular engagement rings include the vintage halo style, the princess cut diamond engagement ring, and the traditional solitaire diamond.
