Romantic Marriage Proposal with Crashing Waves

How did you two meet?
We met in High School and have been together ever since!

How did he propose?
Every year, my family goes on a trip to Frankfort, MI for a week or more to enjoy the beach and scenery. There is a spot at the end of the lighthouse pier where the waves crash up that is simply beautiful. Every year, I go stand in that spot and watch the sunset. I have told Cory several times that this is my favorite place in the world. Since Cory and I began dating, he has come with us to Frankfort and spent the week with us. Each year, we watch the sunset at the end of the pier. This year, it was a little cold and cloudy, but Cory convinced me that we should go out and try to watch the sunset anyway. When we got to the end of the pier, it was cold and crowded, but Cory convinced me that we should stay and wait it out.

Right at sunset, we finally got a moment alone, and Cory got down on his knee and showed me the ring. He then shared some words as to why he wanted to marry me, and how much he loved me, but I was too shocked, surprised, and filled with excitement to hear everything he said (thankfully, he later showed me what he written down). I had no idea that he had been ring shopping, and I was not expecting this moment at all! It was the moment that I have dreamed of for a long time. It couldn’t have been more personal, sweet, and romantic. It was simply perfect, and I couldn’t be happier!

What do you love most about your engagement ring?
The ring is amazing! I have already received so many compliments. I love the intricate details along the sides of the ring, it is unique and beautiful. I think the ring is completely my style, and no matter what angle the ring is viewed from, it still looks absolutely beautiful. The thing that I love most about the ring is that my Fiance Cory picked the ring out and gave it to me himself, and it just shows how well he knows me, and I couldn’t have picked a better ring myself.
