In last night’s emotional episode of Couples Therapy on VH1 (yes, DMX’s tearful reunion with his mother had me on edge), the reality stars including Vienna Girardi from The Bachelor and Linda Hogan (Hulk’s ex) visited our Woodland Hills store as an exercise to show that love isn’t all hard work, per Dr. Jenn Berman.

They spent a long, fun time trying on rings and learning the basics from our engagement ring consultants. One of the stars even had a tearful meltdown, unfortunately. Take a look at the celebs’ outing to The Engagement Ring Store!

We are so proud of our Woodland Hills customer Ryan who exemplifies true commitment after completing his very first L.A. Marathon! Yay! But the dedication doesn’t stop there. Ryan decided to take on another life feat by proposing marriage to his lovely girlfriend Issa who stood at the finish line cheering him on. Congrats to the deserving couple. I tell ya all the time, LOVE ROCKS!

Just when I think there’s a reality show for everything under the sun these production companies prove me wrong. This new show that just premiered on the Style Network last Sunday, Momster of the Bride, has an interesting spin. It showcases the dynamics between mother and daughter as both try to execute the wedding of their respective dreams. One of the couples, Ayana and Matt, recently visited our Woodland Hills store to shop for rings. Ayana had her heart set on a specific, gorgeous wedding band that Matt loved also, mainly because of its beauty AND affordable cost. Just as the couple is being filmed trying on rings with our lovely GM Susy Cabrera, guess who shows up and surprises us all(except the producers)–Ayana’s mom! Sweet lady but a little overbearing and picked out rings that she liked best for her daughter. It made more sense once I learned that mom has always dreamt of being a wedding planner. Aha!
