In last night’s emotional episode of Braxton Family Values (love those singin’ sistas!), Towanda and Traci Braxton accompany Gabe to Robbins Brothers in Woodland Hills to help him find a new wedding ring for Trina. The group was helped by our lovely engagement ring consultant Rita Bhasin. Let’s just say the sisters didn’t go easy on Gabe’s budget. But of course…it was all in love. Take a look:

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Sometime in 2012, the stars aligned, the Mayan Calendars predicted some huge event was going to take place, the whole world waited with bated breath. Kim and Kanye are pregnant. With child. Soon to be parents. A tiny human being will be depending solely on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. They’ve just purchased a quaint and cozy 9,000-square-foot home in Bel-Air. Will they get engaged soon? Hm.. well, Kim has to finalize the divorce with Kris Humphries first. Maybe they’re waiting for just that.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling: It breaks my heart to include Ryan Gosling on this list… but it looks like he’s getting pretty comfortable and just might settle down with Eva. They’ve been dating for over a year, now. Eva may lock down THE Ryan Gosling with an engagement this year… sigh. It’s okay, I’ll forgive you, Ryan.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher: We know that they’ve only been dating for a short while, but their relationship dates back to That 70’s Show! Their friendship turned into romance shortly after the big blowout between Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.

Stacy Keibler and George Clooney: Stacy Keibler is one lucky woman to be with George Clooney for about a year and a half. If she lands this engagement, she will be an incredibly lucky wizard, because only magic is going to make Clooney commit to marriage. Good luck, girl!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: They had a bit of a rough patch during the summer of 2012 due to Kristen’s infidelity, but it seems like they’re back together and looking forward to happier times. Never a dull moment in Tinsletown. Yesterday when I heard the news “Ryan got married” my heart sank as I thought to myself, “Ooooh it’s going to be a long, solemn day at the office tomorrow.” You see, my dear colleague Shulie is the biggest Ryan fan…Ryan Gosling that is.

So yes, the coast is clear and I’m breathing a sigh of relief now that I realize it’s Ryan Reynolds (not Gosling) and Blake Lively who are married. Plus all is well and happy within our department! We send a special congratulatory shout-out to the couple who apparently tied the knot to everyone’s surprise except their wedding planner, Tara Guerard, who described the ceremony which took place at Boone Hall Plantation in South Carolina as “truly a beautiful evening and celebration.” She added, “With decor and live music, we all created the charm, elegance and magic of times passed.” The blissful affair will be featured in an upcoming cover story in Martha Stewart Weddings.

Now I need to find a pic of Blake’s engagement ring and wedding band. Hmmm has anyone spotted it yet?

My dear friend Melanie is devastated over the biggest relationship status change she heard about this past weekend. Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and long-time girlfriend Priscilla Chan married at their home in Palo Alto, CA with nearly 100 guests in attendance. (Yeah my friend has a huge crush on Mark…I know, I know…not sure what the fascination is but the man is a GENIUS. Gotta give him that.)

Interestingly, guests thought they were gathering for Chan’s recent medical school graduation but were surprised with a wedding ceremony. The couple met as undergrads at Harvard University in 2004. Zuckerberg who’s now 28 dropped out of college to work on Facebook, while Chan, a pediatrician stayed to earn her undergrad degree. Many didn’t even know the pair were engaged but we hear he proposed with a simple yet stunning ruby ring.

Other celebs who’ve opted for a ruby instead include Jessica Simpson.

2) Sherri Shepherd & Lamar Sally: Thanks to her bestie Niecy Nash who introduced the two, The View co-host Sherri Shepherd said ‘yes’ to TV writer Lamar Sally the day after Christmas. He asked her 4-year-old son for permission before popping the question. What a gentleman!

3) Shania Twain & Frederic Thiebaud: “He’s been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend,” Twain gushes of Thiebaud. The two wed on New Year’s Day 2011 in Puerto Rico.

4) Hugh Hefner & Crystal Harris: Although their engagement was called off just days before the wedding, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner proposed marriage to his gorgeous playmate Crystal Harris on Christmas Eve. Both agree it was the most memorable Christmas ever, even though she’s referred to now as a runaway bride. (Publicity stunt? Umm maybe.)

5) Tony Romo & Candice Crawford: The famous Dallas Cowboy asked reality star Chace Crawford’s younger sister, Candice, to spend forever with him at her 24th birthday celebration at Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty restaurant. The two are expecting their first child together.

6) Nicole Richie & Joel Madden: They exchanged wedding vows in a beautiful winter ceremony. But here’s the twist: There was an elephant with an elaborate headdress seen entering the premises! Richie once said she wanted a lavish wedding with elephants that represent good luck, lots of people and a horse-drawn carriage. Wish fulfilled.

7) Vivica Fox & Omar White: The actress and club promoter were engaged the day after Christmas when he presented her with an 8-carat ring during their stay at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach, Florida. (Some might call her a cougar due to the 20-year age difference but then again does age really matter?? I say, sometimes!)

8 ) Bret Michaels & Kristi Gibson: After months of engagement rumors, Bret Michaels finally asked his on-off girlfriend of 16 years and two kids together, Kristi Gibson, to marry him on the finale of his VH1 reality show, ‘Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.’

9) Jason Mraz & Tristan Prettyman: The singer said “I’m Yours” to his fellow musician by asking her hand in marriage. “SHE SAID YES,” he tweeted on Dec. 24. Prettyman tweeted the same day. “For once, I am speechless…I did good! Holy crap! Man of my dreams!! For the rest of my life!!!” Unfortunately they broke off their engagement a few months ago but we see them getting back together in the near future.

10) Battle of the Exes: Nick Lachey liked it, so he put a ring on it when proposing to Vanessa Minnillo in early November in a casual beach setting. Just a week later his ex-wife Jessica Simpson announced her engagement to Eric Johnson after five months of dating. He proposed with a three-stone diamond and ruby engagement ring that Jessica began flashing right away.

Last Thursday evening, millions of Twilight fans spent countless hours waiting for the fourth installment of The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn: Part 1. One of the most anticipated scenes that fan wanted to see (besides the racy wedding night scene, that is..rawr.) is the wedding ceremony of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, where one of the best kept secrets was to be reveled: Bella’s Wedding Gown!

Since Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are romantically involved off-screen, when asked about his reaction to seeing Kristen Stewart in the stunning wedding gown, his response: “I’d seen her in the wedding dress, but pretty much everyone in the cast hadn’t seen her, so when she’s walking down the aisle and everyone turns around to her, it’s genuine curiosity because there was so much secrecy about it. She looks amazing.”

The one-of-a-kind Edwardian-inspired wedding gown was especially designed by Caroline Herrera and approved by Stephanie Meyer. Alfred Angelo is selling a replica of Bella Swan’s wedding dress starting Nov. 21. Now every Twihard across the nation can incorporate a bit of Twilight memorabilia into their own dream wedding. I have a feeling that this wedding dress replica might be a little more popular than Princess Katherine’s replica wedding dress… Those Twilight die-hard fans! What do you think? Wait.. 2008? That’s right. Beyonce was married three years ago and she JUST revealed a sneak peek of her wedding dress! No, it’s not a professional photograph, no it’s not even on a mannequin. No, it wasn’t a ten page feature in US Weekly. A few days ago, Beyonce released a very nostalgic video for the song, “I Was Here (Live at Roseland)”. The very moving Vevo music vid included very intimate looks into her life through home videos, monumental achievements, memorable moments and some are just the everyday life of Beyonce. One of the scenes included her fitting into her glamorous wedding gown (without make up)! Never to have been revealed before, here is a screenshot of it:

Now.. there’s something to be said here about how Beyonce handled her own wedding. Doesn’t it seem like every other celebrity has a televised wedding special? I’m starting to wonder if there is some sort of correlation between a televised wedding special and divorce. I seriously give Beyonce brownie points for not going down the cashcow route. What Beyonce did here was so raw, intimate and so.. REAL. Something that’s hard to find in Hollywood, now a days.

Anyway, with that said.. her dress? Sooo glamorous! Check out all that cascading fabric. The wedding of JayZ and Beyonce took place three years ago, in 2008 and details has never been revealed to the public (I think some celebrities need to take notes *ahem*..KimK *cough*). Sherri Shepherd, co-host of The View and once a customer of our Woodland Hills store is getting married! Sherri’s a friend, but also one of Hollywood’s sweetest & funniest women I know. I can’t wait to watch her wedding special tonight on the Style Network at 9pm. In fact, I think I’ll make it a Girls’ Night In. The previews alone are hilarious! And Sherri, well we all know she & Sal were celibate for quite some time so I have a feeling she couldn’t wait until the wedding was OVER.

– Her no-underwear moment: She explains: “Sal and I had been celibate for 11 months before the wedding.” So to help “get the car revved back up,” her pals told her to be sexy on her wedding day and go commando. She even “got vajazzled” for the big day. But as she was walking into the reception, her microphone pack began falling down the back of her dress. To get it, Elizabeth started lifting up her gown. “I started screaming, ‘I have no panties!’ One of her bridesmaids thought she was saying, “My pancreas!” Sherri wound up on the floor with Elisabeth shoving the pack back up her dress.

My friend and former PR client Sherri Shepherd is a married woman now and I am sooooo happy for her! She’s truly one of the sweetest, funniest, most inspirational women I know! Sherri made a beautiful bridesmaid in Niecy Nash’s wedding earlier this year, so naturally I expected her to shine radiantly as a bride and that she did. On Saturday, August 13, Sherri and Lamar Sally tied the knot in front of family and friends at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago. I wasn’t there but can’t wait to see it on the Style Network’s Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married on September 13.

In the meantime, I came across a sneak peek of Sherri’s blingy Glam-Luxe custom stiletto. Wow! I’ll need to watch the wedding special just to see the shoes. Oh, and of course I’m looking forward to the bridal party dance with The View co-host & bridesmaid Elizabeth Hasslebeck. Congrats Sherri & Lamar! If any couple deserves the best that married life has to offer, it’s you two. Enjoy each other.

In addition to the recent Niecy Nash wedding which will air on the TLC network this Saturday, June 4 at 8pm, Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo, who Robbins Brothers had the pleasure of working with in the past, also married over Memorial Day weekend. Romo & Candice Crawford, sister of Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, said “I Do” in front of 600 family & friends at Dallas’ Arlington Hall. Tony Romo is the nicest, most humble young man. He was so gracious to help one of our customers get engaged at the Dallas store grand opening, and then took his own advice when proposing to Candice in Dec. 2010. Congrats to the lovely couple! We wish them a lifetime of bliss.
