Customer Experience Managers at Robbins Brothers–Moraima, Jazmin & Michelle–rock their Simon G. Bling!

Last week I had the lucky honor of hosting a little soiree, Diamonds & Desserts, with the fabulous team at Robbins Brothers Glendale and Simon G. – all to benefit Dress for Success, an incredible organization that empowers women entering the workforce. They help those who are in need of suits and accessories for interviews and workdays but beyond that, they also train, teach and support women seeking the tools to secure and succeed at a new job. Such a great non-profit, I highly recommend checking it out – you can donate your time, your gently worn work clothes and get involved in lots of ways to help others get back on their feet!

So back to the party. Bloggers, media and wedding experts gathered (and gathered belongings to donate to Dress for Success), to celebrate with diamonds and what else?! Dessert!

Simon G.’s amazing team brought out the best of the best for guests to try on (and swoon over). My personal favorite was this fabulous canary diamond engagement ring. I might have worn it just a little too long!

I also loved this cuff – perfect for a destination wedding. It looked like I was wearing coral made of diamonds!

Rose gold was certainly trending around the room for the night, not unlike on brides down the aisles too! Partygoers also enjoyed trying on this gorgeous ring encrusted with yellow diamonds.

But this night wasn’t just beautiful jewels! We also got to taste test sangria from the Los Angeles wedding location, Noor and try sweet treats from Some Crust Bakery. And if guests could put a cupcake down long enough for a manicure, Serve the Goddess offered up a pampering experience right there in the store!

I had such a great time getting to know new faces and seeing old, friendly ones and I know the group had a blast too – especially those who won raffles prizes like this fun book for couples by relationship expert Natasha Burton (and of course there were some jewels given too…)!

Big thanks to everyone who came out for the night and congrats to all the big jewelry winners – some ladies went home with some very nice (and sparkly) swag! And thank you to Robbins Brothers for including me in such a lovely evening!

Summer of Love Engaged Couples Reunion on KTLA-TV

Robbins Brothers’ Valentine Surprise Proposals have become a viewer favorite on KTLA Channel 5. For nearly 10 years, the Robbins Brothers Love Team and popular fun-loving Los Angeles reporter, Gayle Anderson, have helped anxious guys plan and surprise their girlfriends with heart-wrenching marriage proposals…..on live television! There is always uncertainty, suspense and a little chaos involved; and sometimes the Love Team doesn’t even make it on-air due to breaking news stories. But one thing’s for sure, each and every proposal we plan is special, sweet, tear-jerking, fun, magical and memorable.

Recently we decided to catch up with some of our previously engaged couples to see what they’ve been up to since their televised proposal. But first we started the week off with a surprise proposal for an EMT who stunned his girlfriend during a CPR training in the city of Orange!

Watch the Video!

Once the charming Keith Boles proposed to Michelle in 2012 in front of coworkers, she gleefully started singing and dancing! Stan Huang serenaded the love of his life, Janelle, for breakfast at Old Vine Cafe and she is not a morning person (uh oh). Did these couples actually get married or was it all for show?

A few years ago Ray Ledesma popped the question to Rochelle at her daughter’s daycare with the help of adorable kids (awww). Did they make it to the alter and if so how’s married life we wonder?

Meanwhile, Refugio Calderon was all set to propose to his girlfriend Juana at the Alan Levy Dental Office, but there was a gunman pacing a rooftop in Westwood and the segment was almost cancelled (yikes, never a dull moment on live TV!). Did love conquer all?

All  smiles, Juana Calderon shows off her Robbins Brothers engagement and wedding ring set to reporter Gayle Anderson.

We are happy to report that most of our couples are still crazy in love!

Wishing every couple across the world the most romantic summer ever. We enjoy celebrating your Love!

Paparazzi Proposals and Robbins Brothers Get Engaged To Give Marriage Proposals Exciting New Twist

Robbins Brothers, a destination bridal jewelry retailer, and Paparazzi Proposals, a photography company announce their partnership to give customers exclusive pricing on proposal planning and engagement photos.

Los Angeles, CA (June 12, 2014)Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store and Paparazzi Proposals, a national proposal photography company known for its appearance on Shark Tank, announce their partnership to help more couples capture the magical “Will You Marry Me” moment. Whether a groom wants to surprise his significant other with a marriage proposal at dinner, the beach, a popular park or museum, or a surprise party with family and friends, Paparazzi Proposals’ team of experts will work with the client to capture the exciting moments before, during and after the big moment.

“You can never recreate the elation, surprise and love that flashes across someone’s face when they are being proposed to,” said James Ambler, founder and CEO of Paparazzi Proposals. “It’s raw emotion at its best and our job is to help our clients plan their proposals; and then to capture that moment on camera so they can look back on it fondly for years to come.”

The decision for Robbins Brothers and Paparazzi Proposals to exclusively partner came naturally.

“We realize just how important and exciting the marriage proposal is for couples,” commented Larry Gomperts, executive vice president of marketing and strategic planning for Robbins Brothers. “From finding the perfect ring to planning the proposal, we strive to provide our customers with unlimited support and guidance. Ultimately, our wish is for every couple to have the most incredible engagement experience.”

Through their partnership, Robbins Brothers will offer its engagement ring customers exclusive pricing on any Paparazzi Proposals Package.

The newly engaged Nick Barber from Texas couldn’t have been happier with his proposal package. After buying an engagement ring from the Robbins Brothers Arlington store, he received a brochure about the photography service. He loved the idea of having photos to announce his engagement to family and friends, and also to share on social media.

“I already had an idea in mind of how I wanted to propose but I was anxious and so nervous about everything going as planned,” Nick said. “I wanted to surprise my girlfriend and propose at the University of Arlington where we met by making her think we were going there to get interviewed for the school paper. Paparazzi Proposals said they could pretend to be university photographers and instantly put me at ease with their flawless planning of the day. The photographer was great and took amazing pictures which we received from them within a couple of days after the proposal. Importantly and above all, she loved the ring and she said yes!!”
